All you have to say is “anthropomorphic lottery ticket animals in a jungle setting,” and Jonathan is right there at your doorstep. Everybody had a blast breathing life into these slices of cardboard for Richter’s second animated Tennessee Lottery spot for The Buntin Group.

B&H Publishing promo

Producer David Lamar of West End Studios teamed up with Richter to make this author recruitment video for B&H Publishing, a company specializing in christian themed books and media. Using motion tracking and photorealistic rendering, this informational pitch turned heads at trade shows becoming a buzz within the industry.
Richter designed, built, and animated this stop-motion reminiscent boombox for One Republic’s tour content though Moo Creative in Nashville. Things really kick into gear around the 3 1/2 minute mark (tour content is a weird animal) as things really start to get sad and melodramatic. Number 5 is alive!

Agency Red Deluxe wrote holiday promos that brought the illustrations from vintage Christmas Seals stamps to life. Richter directed and composited 5 children and 2 very helpful and patient adults for these memorable commercials.
Nestled in balmy Hampton, Georgia just south of Atlanta, brewing wünderkind Glenn Golden moved into an old 2 story jailhouse with the intent of making uncompromisingly great craft beer. Along the way to continually achieving this, Golden asked Jonathan to interpret each new beer he released with a new character, illustration, and design. The result has become a beer nerd favorite in the craft beer market, as Jonathan continues to bring 1920’s Leavenworth-era prison imagery to life in the packaging…
